The Athenæum Community Centre is a Grade II listed building and has a long and colourful history of use; from a literary institution, to a cinema, school, theatre, and now a centre for the community. The Centre is held in Trust by and for the people of Warminster and is operated by a dedicated team of volunteers. The Athenaeum plays host to a diverse range of community groups, classes and activities within it’s many rooms. At the heart of the building, the Victorian Auditorium is used by local drama and dance groups, schools and charities, for shows and events, as well as the occasional professional touring company.
