ABOUT STOURTON MEMORIAL HALL
Beautiful and Historic Village Hall with Wi-Fi at Stourhead. The Hall is in the Spread Eagle Courtyard close to the entrance of Stourhead Gardens one of the busiest National Trust properties and a Landscape Garden of international repute. The principle objective of the Hall is to provide a Village Hall for the use of the inhabitants of Stourton for meetings, lectures, classes and other forms of recreation and leisure. It is also available for hire by the general public and for limited commercial activities. The Hall is not licensed for wedding ceremonies, though it is often used for wedding parties. As there are several Wedding venues on the Stourhead estate the Hall is a very popular place for Wedding Receptions.
ROOMS AVAILABLE
Hall & Commercial Kitchen. The Hall is approximately 21 metres x 5.7 metres and has a fully fitted kitchen. Lavatories are in the Spread Eagle Courtyard.
The Hall is licenced for a maximum of 100 people. Experience shows that 80 seated is about the maximum. Tables and chairs are available from the store room and must be returned, in the designated spaces, at the end of the hire.
FACILITIES
Wedding parties, Meetings, Events, Parties, Clubs. Audio/Visual Equipment, State of the Art Sound System. There is a LCD projector and screen fitted from the ceiling. The screen is F.O.C. and the projector may be hired. There is a fully featured sound system which, at it’s most simple level, can play from any mp3 source e.g. mobile phone. There are also 3 radio mics and a DVD player.
