ABOUT KINGTON ST MICHAEL VILLAGE HALL
Kington St Michael is situated three miles north of Chippenham in North Wiltshire. The village hall can be found next to the village shop and the church, just off the main road running through the village.
The hall is used by a wide range of community groups including Acorns (the local pre-school) , two WI groups (KSM WI and All Angels WI), Autumn Club, Salsa, Pilates, Line Dancing, Dog Training and Scrapbooking. There is an annual Christmas Fayre and a musical event held in the hall. The hall is also used by many people in the community for private hire.
Kington St Michael village hall can accommodate 150 people standing, 80 people seated (theatre style rows) or 70 people seated at tables. The kitchen opens up onto the main hall which makes it ideal for serving refreshments at events. There is an enclosed playground area at the back of the hall and a car park to the side of the hall with six marked bays.
The hall is available for public and private hire.
The village hall has a number of facilities available to hirers, these include:
- An L-shaped hall area
- Kitchen which includes crockery, kettles, oven, fridge and a serving hatch
- Toilets including disabled toilets
- A keyboard and stand
- Public Announcement system including T-Loop
- Access to table and chairs
- Small area of grass
- Car park with six marked bays: available for users of the village hall and shop
