The village hall is an old WW1 recreation hut situated just off the High Street in the centre of the village. It comprises a main room (with curtained-off stage) measuring 20m by 6m with kitchen facilities at the other end.
The kitchen is equipped with a modern cooker with electric hob, two kettles, a microwave and a warming cupboard, plus crockery, cutlery and glassware for 50. Heating is provided by efficient wall heaters and there is a fireplace with coal/wood supplied for winter evenings. A number of collapsible tables, including green baize-topped card tables can be used in a variety of configurations and there are 60 chairs available. Toilets, including one with disabled access are to the side, behind the stage.
The hall interior is quaint and old-fashioned – suitable for meetings, groups, parties and smaller gatherings. Parking is normally in the village street, but please enquire if you have a specific request.
