Quidhampton Village Hall was built in Victorian times as a Reading Room. Generously, it could be described as an historic gem. Realistically, it has seen better days, but although it is smallish and quaintish, it is, nonetheless, warm, clean and snug with all the accoutrements required for social occasions and for the practising of the performing arts.
Quidhampton Village Hall is a single storey building which opens straight onto the main road which runs through the village. It is wheelchair accessible. The Hall comprises one main function room and, off that, a kitchen and separate ladies and gentlemens’ cloakroom and lavatories. The function room and the kitchen have a good range of furniture and the normal necessities of a kitchen, including plenty of crockery, glasses and cutlery.
The hall is now kitted with high speed broadband and Wifi at 400 mb/s via the Virgin fibre passing through the village. This therefore provides for seamless video conferencing for meetings or gatherings, and streaming TV or other media from the internet via a laptop or tablet.
