ABOUT IDMISTON PARISH MEMORIAL HALL
The Memorial Hall was built in Idmiston Road, Porton to commemorate parishioners who gave their lives in two world wars. It opened in 1959. Although the exterior is not an architectural gem, the interior is warm, light, clean and modern, with facilities for disabled people. There is a good sized car-park. Volunteers manage the hall . It is well used by private hirers especially for childrens birthday parties, wedding receptions, anniversaries and Christening celebrations.
