ABOUT HEDDINGTON CHARLES WILLIS VILLAGE HALL

Hall within the pleasant surroundings of rural Heddington. Excellent car parking facilities. Newly refurbished kitchen. Very reasonable hire charges. Close to both Calne and Devizes.

FACILITIES

The main hall measures 12.6 x 9.1 metres and has its own off-street ample car park.  The adjacent school playground is not part of the Village Hall, but could be hired (for instance for a children’s party) by negotiation with the school. It houses a defibrillator at the front of the building. It has disabled access and a disabled toilet.

There is a newly-refurbished and well-equipped kitchen providing: 60+ settings of small plates, large plates, teacups and cutlery, family size cooker, double size hot cupboard, dishwasher, three sinks, large urn

There are 13 tables and 110 chairs in the hall and a stage is available to hire for a small extra charge.  It is made up of 18 units each measuring 2m x 1m, which can be used in any combination (e.g. for a disco).  The maximum area to fit the hall would be 4m x 9m.  The hiring of stage lighting and sound equipment can usually be arranged by negotiation with Heddington Amateur Dramatic Society, one of our best customers. For a theatrical production it seats an audience of 80 people.
